While NIPA and WP&BC were both hopeful our communities would be able to meet in-person at the 2020NAFE, protecting our attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and staff remains our top priority. Large gatherings and travel continue to pose health and safety concerns, which led the NIPA Board of Directors to make the difficult decision to cancel the in-person gathering of the 2020NAFE this August.

In partnership with WP&BC, NIPA is excited to announce that the 2020NAFE will transform into NAFE Amplified, an expanded version of the NAFE Virtual Conference experience, taking place August 10-12 and 17-18.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why was the in-person NAFE cancelled?

The in-person experience for 2020NAFE was cancelled due to the continuation of health, safety and travel concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This decision to cancel the in-person experience was made to protect the health, safety and well-being of our attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and staff. It goes without saying that this decision was not entered into lightly, especially in this highly complex environment.

NAFE Amplified is our approach to deliver the highly valuable, timely education that our attendees would have received during the 2020NAFE in Nashville.

When is NAFE Amplified taking place?

August 10-12 and 17-18, 2020

Knowing the importance and timeliness of the best practices that were to be shared at the in-person conference, we plan to hold NAFE Amplified almost exactly the same time as the planned in-person event.

What’s the value in shifting to a virtual conference?

Staying on top of the latest governmental updates, best practices and ideas for not only maintaining but growing revenue for TPA businesses could not be more critical than it is today. That is why we are committed to bringing the tremendous value of NAFE to you virtually.

Further, with no additional costs associated with travel and hotels, access to all of the session recordings for three (3) months after the live virtual event, and access to invaluable online networking opportunities, NAFE Amplified is a great way to acknowledge the economic hardship many of us are facing while still advancing towards your goals as a retirement plan professional.

Will the sessions or speakers be different at NAFE Amplified?

We are fortunate to work with an incredible lineup of dedicated, committed speakers who have spent an incredible amount of time and energy developing relevant, timely content for the NAFE.

We are working closely with all confirmed NAFE speakers to identify days and times that work best for all in the NAFE Amplified virtual experience. Our expectation is that there will be little impact on the educational lineup. An updated agenda will be shared over the next two weeks.

What about sponsors and exhibitors? Will I still be able to network with those industry partners?

Yes, absolutely. A key part of the NAFE experience is networking with our valued sponsors and exhibitors throughout the event. We are strongly committed to fostering opportunities for engagement throughout NAFE Amplified. More information about those networking opportunities will be shared over the next two weeks.

Where can I get the most up-to-date information about NAFE Amplified?
