It’s Back-to-School Time with NIPA’s New and Updated Certificate Courses

Qualified retirement plans operate under a complex set of rules and regulations that TPAs need not only to understand, but to also be able to apply. NIPA’s online certificate courses help you meet this challenge, because NIPA recognizes the need for educational programs that expand your knowledge and enhance your ability to perform day-to-day plan administration. These new and updated courses provide the perfect opportunity to develop your professional skills at your own pace, anytime and anyplace.

As another back-to-school season begins, NIPA is responding to industry needs by expanding and enhancing our certificate course offerings:

  • NIPA's new Form 5500 Certificate Course explains the who, what, why, when and how of 5500 Series and ancillary form preparation. This one-of-a-kind course is designed for those who are new to qualified retirements plans or who have been away from 5500 Series preparation for a while. Yet, this course is also comprehensive enough to help administrators with more experience broaden their understanding of the rules, practices and procedures affecting 5500 preparation.
  • NIPA's newly redesigned Fundamentals of Qualified Plans Certificate Course  introduces the basics of qualified plan rules. This course lays the foundation for working with qualified plans by addressing the major concepts a plan administrator must know and be able to apply, while also including many practical examples for each concept that is covered. This course is designed for those new to the retirement industry and/or new to retirement plan administration.
  • NIPA’s newly redesigned Comprehensive Guide to 401(k) Plans Certificate Course delivers an in-depth examination of the regulatory requirements and operational features of the most popular employer-sponsored savings arrangement for today's workers – the 401(k) plan. This course is designed to provide the comprehensive information needed to understand the rules and retirement industry concepts that form the foundation for 401(k) plan operations. This program is best for those new to the retirement industry and/or new to retirement plan administration, as well as those who want to advance their 401(k) skill set.
  • In addition, NIPA is in the process of redesigning its Distribution Administrator Certificate Course and Loan Administrator Certificate Course. Look for these updated courses later this fall!

To enhance your learning experience, all of our new and updated certificate courses are available through NIPA’s online Learning Center. And, these valuable educational resources are available to both NIPA members and nonmembers.

Take advantage of NIPA’s back-to-school programs! Learn how you can strengthen your skills and become an indispensable asset in your workplace by broadening your knowledge with NIPA's new and updated certificate courses!
