NOTE: Due to the health and safety concerns that large gatherings and travel continue to pose, the NIPA Board of Directors has decided to cancel the in-person gathering this August. The 2020NAFE will transform into NAFE Amplified, an expanded version of the NAFE Virtual Conference experience, taking place August 10-12 and 17-18. Web pages will be updated on a rolling basis.

I’m already registered to attend the 2020NAFE in Nashville. What happens to my registration?

As a current registrant for the in-person 2020NAFE in Nashville, your registration will automatically transfer over to NAFE Amplified to make the transition as easy as possible for you. Knowing there is a difference in registration costs between NAFE and NAFE Amplified, we would like to give you flexibility in how to apply the difference using these three options: 

1. Use your credit (the difference between the NAFE in-person registration cost you paid and the NAFE Amplified registration cost) to receive one complimentary registration to NAFE Amplified to be used by any member in your company (up to an $895 value)

2. Receive a credit of the difference towards the 2021NAFE

3. Alternatively, opt out of attending NAFE Amplified and receive a full refund

Complete this short form by 11:59 p.m. CT on Friday, July 10 to share your preference.

I registered my team to attend the 2020NAFE in Nashville under the employer group discount. What happens to my registration?

As a current group registrant for the in-person 2020NAFE in Nashville, your group registration will automatically transfer over to NAFE Amplified. We value your support of the NAFE and want to make the transition as easy as possible for you — which is why NIPA’s Associate Laurel Brummel (lbrummel@nipa.org) will reach out within a week and share your 2020NAFE credit amount. Credits can be taken advantage of in one of three ways: 

1. Additional complimentary registrations to NAFE Amplified for colleagues in your company
2. Credit of the difference towards the 2021NAFE
3. Partial refund of the difference

When will I receive my refund?

All refunds will be processed after July 10th and can be expected to be received before Friday, July 31st. 

 

 

I had a Night on the Town ticket purchased. Will that be refunded automatically?

 

All registrants that purchased a Night on the Town ticket will be refunded the full $80 per ticket. Refunds for Night on the Town ticket(s) will be processed to your original form of payment between Monday, July 13, 2020 and Friday, July 24, 2020. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

 

 

I also have a guest registered to attend the 2020NAFE in Nashville. What should I do?

 

All guest registrants will be automatically refunded the full $550 amount. It will be processed to your original form of payment between Monday, July 13, 2020 and Friday, July 24, 2020. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

 

 

What about flight and travel arrangements made for the cancelled in-person conference?

All attendees should cancel their own travel arrangements. All attendees need to contact their own airlines/travel insurance companies to understand their policies and whether flights can be transferred and what penalty fees, if any, may apply.

 

 

How do I cancel my hotel reservation(s) for the cancelled in-person conference?

Reservations made directly into the NAFE block at the JW Marriott Nashville will be automatically canceled and fully refunded. If you made reservations outside of the NIPA room block with the hotel or through a third party, like Expedia or Travelocity, please make sure you cancel those yourself. If in doubt, please call the hotel directly to confirm your cancellation at (615) 291-8600.
