2012BMC: The Formula for Business Growth: The Referral Factor
Share |
NIPA recently spoke with 2012 Business Management Conference (2012BMC) speaker Ami Tully Lotka, CFP, President, Maximum Impact Partners, Inc. about her session, The Formula for Business Growth: The Referral Factor.

Describe the topic you will speak about during the 2012BMC.

Ray Kroc, founder of McDonalds, said that if you are not growing, you are rotting. According to McDonald’s Web site, this notion resulted in, "More than 30,000 local restaurants serving nearly 50 million people in more than 119 countries each day."  That kind of growth is amazing.  So what? What does growth mean to you as a TPA business owner:  Does it mean more locations for your business? More staff? More clients? More advisors and other centers of influence to drive business to you? All of those things?  There are so many ways that TPA business owners go about the critical task of growing business year after year.  What is the most powerful way to grow your business? What is the process and the system that you can put in place to grow your business every single year?  We have two hours to tackle these questions during our workshop at the BMC.

How do you think your presentation will help TPA business owners who attend the 2012BMC?

During this session, we will discuss a powerful formula to help you grow your business by replicating your top five clients. Not all referrals are created equal. There is a big difference between being given a name as a referral and a favorable introduction. How do you get more favorable introductions?  We will discuss who to ask for referrals, when to ask and what exact words to say when asking for a referral.  This Referral Formula will help the business owner to employ the right process for referrals and generate more of the right kind of business as a result.

What do think attendees will take away from your session, The Formula for Business Growth: The Referral Factor?

Attendees will leave with a better handle on their ideal client which leads the way to identifying ideal referrals with whom you are best positioned to help.Attendees will take away a tool to put to work right away to make referrals a systematic and easy process to deploy in your business.
