Continuing Education

Iowa Chapter Members: Unfortunately, due to the recent flooding in Iowa several seminars have had to be postponed. NIPA is granting an extension on submitting continuing education credits to all Iowa Chapter Members until October 1, 2008. Any credit that is submitted between June 16, 2008 and October 1, 2008 will applied towards your 2007-08 continuing education credits.

All Regular Members of NIPA are required to fulfill 10 hours of continuing education annually. The continuing education requirement for maintaining the APA designation is 15 hours and 10 hours for maintaining the APR designation. All members are responsible for submitting their own continuing education credits to NIPA Headquarters except for NIPA sponsored events which will be done automatically.

Associate Members are exempt from the continuing education requirements as well as Regular Members over the age of 60. If you qualify for exempt status, please contact NIPA Headquarters.
