Business Owner Membership ($550)
Business Owner membership is for TPA business owners. Business Owner Members may, but are not required to, hold a NIPA designation. All
Business Owner Members who are APAs are required to fulfill 15 hours of
Continuing Education Credit per year. All Business Owner members who
are APRs are required to turn in 10 hours per year. Business Owner Members receive exclusive benefits:

Executive Membership ($405)
Executive membership is for anyone with a NIPA designation (APA/APR). This membership category is also open to anyone whose primary focus is pension administration including pension administrators, business managers or operations managers. All
Executive Members are required to fulfill 10 hours of Continuing
Education Credit per year (APAs must fulfill 15 hours a year to maintain

Affiliate Membership ($350)
Affiliate membership is for anyone who is affiliated with the retirement plan industry, but does not match the criteria of the Business Owner or Executive Member categories. These members include but are not limited to accountants, CPAs, consultants, attorneys, financial planners, brokers, advisors, HR benefit reps, service providers(documents/software/education) and record keepers. Affiliate
Members are not required to fulfill the continuing education
requirements and therefore cannot hold an APA or APR designation. Affiliate Members will receive various member benefits, including:
Student Membership ($205)
Student
Members will receive various member benefits, including: Student membership is for anyone currently working towards their APA or APR designation that has not joined NIPA as an Executive Member. Applicants
for Student Memberships must be enrolled in either a May, August or
November APA or APR course within the same year they apply for
membership for their application to be accepted and must continuously
enroll in at least one exam per year to maintain their Student
Membership.
Student Memberships expire 5 years from the date the
application is received or until the Student has fulfilled the APA or
APR designation requirements - whichever situation occurs first. At this
time, they must join NIPA as an Executive Member to maintain their
membership or use their APA or APR designation. Student members receive various member benefits, including:
